Jazz is a musical style combining elements of folk, artistic and popular music. The symbol of freedom and freedom of bohemia has become one of the main elements of music created by the Lodz band, Samokhin Band. This multicultural band will be heard once again in the Sukcesja Shopping and Entertainment Centre as early as on 18 November at 7:00 p.m. This time in a swing and jazz version.
The Samokhin Band is a Polish-Armenian-Russian band from Łódź, which was formed in 2008 on the initiative of a Russian and at the same time Cossack, Pavel Samokhin, from Rostov-on-Don. On stage, it emanates eastern temperament and incredible energy. It captivates the heart with its high-pitched trumpet sounds, captivating with its slightly hoarse, charismatic voice.
The music they perform is an energetic mix of jazz, funky, ska, old rock'n'roll and eastern folk, enhanced by a rock sound. The band performed, among others, as a support for Joe Cocker and Leningrad supergroup. They have over 3,000 concerts in Poland and abroad and released 3 albums.
The concert, which will take place on November 18th at 19:00 in the Sukcesja Shopping and Entertainment Centre, will be the quintessence of the energetic Samokhin Band style. For those who would prefer to listen to the concert in a slightly calmer atmosphere, the organizers will prepare tables and chairs. The performance will take place on level -1 near the fountains. Admission is free.
