BlizzCon 2021: World of Warcraft still by far Blizzard's most eagerly anticipated universe
World of Warcraft has been one of Activision Blizzard's most profitable titles for years. This fact is manifested primarily in the commitment that the creators have to their "favorite child". During BlizzConline 2021 it was the theme of this game that manifested itself most often. We learned about two premieres concerning this universe, which will appear later this year.
World of Warcraft Shadowlands: Chains of Domination
Patch 9.1 to World of Warcraft will be huge - it's probably the biggest first patch in the history of additions to this game. Players will gain access to a massive raid called Sanctum of Dominion, where they will face off against such World of Warcraft notables as Sylvanas Windrunner and Kel'Thuzad.
Unexpectedly, Blizzard Entertainment also announced the addition of a new zone to the game. Not many people expected that just a few months after the release of the Shadowlands add-on we would be dealing with such a big expansion. Its name is Korthia - it's supposed to be a forgotten, mysterious city in the not-so-well-explored hereafter. This is not the end! The game will also include the so-called Broker Trade City mega dungeon, which will feature as many as eight bosses.
All these revelations take place under the mantle of an excellent story, which binds the whole world and elevates the narrative of World of Warcraft to a new level. Even the famous Lich King is back - this time in a slightly different guise.
World of Warcraft - the return of The Burning Crusade
It happened - players' speculations are once again confirmed. TBC is an addition to World of Warcraft considered one of the most successful expansions by the community of Blizzard's legendary MMO. Fans of the series put it on par with the legendary Wrath of the Lich King. We'll have to come back to Outlands soon, because later this year. Along with the last raid of World of Warcraft: Classic, questions arose: what next? Now we have the answer - a confrontation with legendary heroes such as Kil'jaeden, Kael'thas Sunstrider or Illidan Stormrage, a return to the classic zones and many months of entertainment await us. All this is included in the standard World of Warcraft subscription.
